XILICA (THIRD) PARTY TIME 

XILICA launched official drivers for Crestron, AMX and Control4, to simply interface with these control systems.In addition to the Lua Scripting module in the Project Controller, a Lua Device Driver Builder is now integrated in the latest version of the Xilica Designer software, this makes it possible to create hardware component modules, or import drivers already made by others for each device that has a TCP / IP, UDP, or Serial communication protocol. These can then be used directly via the already known Module Library by simply dragging and dropping into the project and entering the IP address of the device.
XILICA now encourages manufacturers to provide Device Drivers for their products, however anyone with limited knowledge of Lua can create and export their own drivers for sharing.

THIS IS THE WAY

That's why NEWHANK now offers seamless interaction with the XILICA Platform and Plug and Play scripts for some of the current and new products.
For example, our custom driver for the NEWHANK Stream IT . There are 10 free presets to program for calling e.g. Internet radio stations or playlists made from music available in the local network.
MP3 files stored on a USB stick or external hard drive can also be played via the USB port.

EVERYTHING VIA THE INTERNET, BUT WITH GOOD SOUND

The XILICA HearClear ™ AEC module has been in the program for some time, but is currently very hot essential. Now that more and more people are working and learning at home, Skype, Teams, Zoom meetings and the like have become an integral part of our working week, a common problem is that the sound in a presentation room 'leaks' from the speakers into the stream recording via the microphone(s) used. In addition to our Dante microphone solutions for better local recording, we are therefore increasingly using the AEC module. This module is able to correlate the microphone signal with the signal sent to the speakers via a smart algorithm and filters out this "feedback". The result is a crystal-clear, intelligible stream feed, very suitable for use in offices, meeting rooms / halls, lecture halls and studios.
The AEC module can only be used if the Solaro FR1 or QR1 has an AEC License, contact us for the possibilities and advice.
