Two years without our captain

Vandaag zijn we twee jaar zonder Henk.

Na al jullie reacties op ons bericht vorig jaar, hebben we besloten jaarlijks op deze datum jullie in een paar zinnen over ons jaar en onze plannen voor de toekomst te vertellen.

Vandaag is Interstate Audio gesloten, zodat ieder op zijn eigen manier deze dag kan invullen.

Morgen zijn we gewoon volgens onze openingstijden bereikbaar.

Het afgelopen jaar

Tot de jaarwisseling zijn wij erg druk geweest met de verbouwing van ons magazijn, per 1 januari zijn al onze activiteiten daar ondergebracht.

Direct daarna mochten we Interstate 3 dagen laten zien op de CUE beurs, waar we middels zijn silhouet op de achterwand Henk er toch een beetje bij hadden.

Op CUE introduceerden we de NewHank HM4x4S en inmiddels komen we de matrix in diverse installaties tegen in zowel Benelux als de rest van Europa.

Ook presenteerden we de opvolger van de Stream IT (V3), welke als warme broodjes ons magazijn uitvlogen.

We hebben inmiddels twee zendingen voorraad via een spoedzending naar ons magazijn moeten laten komen om de vraag bij te benen, in onze eerstvolgende container zit gelukkig een grote batch waar we een tijd mee voort kunnen.

In februari waren we in Barcelona op de ISE beurs te vinden, waar we dit jaar nog rond liepen van afspraak naar afspraak. Later in deze mailing meer over ISE2025.

Op ISE lanceerde Blaze Audio de 8-kanaals versterkers en luidsprekers, de luidsprekers waren voor de Amerikaanse markt al eerder beschikbaar en werden nu ook voor de Europese markt geïntroduceerd.

Onze voorraad ACX Audio processoren groeit gestaag en ACX is hun programma flink aan het uitbreiden en de software, website en accessoires aan het optimaliseren.

De toekomst

We hebben een keuze gemaakt voor de vervanging van onze ERP software, onze bedoeling is voor jullie het zo eenvoudig en inzichtelijk mogelijk te maken en tegelijkertijd onze interne processen te structuren.

We verwachten met het nieuwe pakket ook een koppeling te kunnen maken tussen onze website en onze database. Dit zodat dan middels een portal direct gekeken kan worden of iets voorradig is en wat de actuele prijs van een product is. Daarnaast zullen we naar een digitale RMA procedure gaan waarbij de aanmelding 24/7 via het portal gedaan kan worden en de status te zien is.

De overgang is ontzettend complex en zal veel tijd kosten om in goede banen te laten verlopen, we trekken hier daarom een half jaar voor uit en hebben als doel per 1 januari over te gaan.

De afgelopen tijd hebben we veel energie gestoken in NewHank. Nadat we vorig jaar besloten hebben van een aantal modellen afscheid te nemen, gaan we met een frisse blik op de toekomst producten vernieuwen en nieuwe producten te ontwikkelen.

Met onze 1 april grap maakten we al bekend met een opvolger te komen voor de Multimate. Ook de Aerobix wordt momenteel zowel intern als extern herzien voor een verbeterde versie.

Daarnaast verwachten we rond ISE2025 een serie van drie nieuwe producten te introduceren, waar we nu nog even geheimzinnig over blijven. Wel kunnen we delen dat de serie producten een lang gekoesterde wens is van zowel ons als vele installateurs.

Blaze Audio heeft de Ci-Serie van Cornered Audio overgenomen, door deze overname zijn wij per direct de Benelux distributeur voor deze serie en een tweetal on-wall subwoofer modellen.

We houden onze voorgaande distributeur CAP AV in ere en ook daar zal de serie volgens vertrouwde condities afgenomen kunnen worden. De Cornered Audio merknaam zal in de toekomst vervangen worden voor Blaze.

Wij hebben een demo-set bij ons uitvoerig getest en zijn zeer positief verrast door de weergave van deze modellen.

Van 22 t/m 24 oktober zijn we aanwezig op LEaTcon, in de Hamburg Messe. Hier laten we samen met onze Duitse distributeur Steinbild onze merken ACX, NewHank en ProDJuser zien.

Today marks two years without Henk.

After receiving all your responses to our mailing last year, we decided to send you a yearly update on this date on how the past year has been and what our future plans are.

Today Interstate will be closed, so everyone of us can spend the day in their own personal way

Tomorrow we will be open for business as usual.

The past year

We spent a lot of time in last year’s Q4 with moving our offices and service center to the warehouse address , January 1st we started all our activities from this location.

Quickly after that we were honoured to show Interstate at the CUE show in Rotterdam, were we’ve kept Henk close with us by having a silhouette of him on our back wall.

At the CUE show we introduced the NewHank HM4x4S and by now we see the matrix being installed in diverse installation in both Benelux as the rest of Europe.

We also presented the successor of Stream IT(V3), and after the show they went out as fresh hot-dogs. By now we’ve had two express shipments of them to our warehouse to keep up with demand. In our next container we fortunately have a large batch to get our stock at the level we’re expected to have.

In February we’ve been at the ISE show in Barcelona, this year we were walking around the show going from meeting to meeting. Later this mailing more about ISE2025.

At ISE Blaze Audio launched the 8-channel amplifiers and speakers. The speakers were already available on the American market and are now also introduced to the European market.

Our ACX Audio stock of processors has a steady buildup and ACX is putting a lot of effort in expanding the program and optimizing their software, website and accessories.

The future

We finalized our decision for the replacement our ERP software. Our intention is to make it as easy and transparent for you as possible and at the same time structure our internal processes.

In our new system we also expect to connect our databases with the website, enabling for instance a portal where relevant stock and pricing information can be found for our customers.

We also plan to have a digital RMA procedure, so you can apply for one at any time of day and track the status when in process.

The merge is very complex and we expect to take a half year to get there, we aim to work with the new system on January 1st.

After deciding we would phase out a number of NewHank models, we've spent a lot of time and energy in improving current and development of new products.

With our April Fool’s joke we announced the successor for Multimate. And at the moment also the Aerobix is being revised both internally and externally.

We also expect to launch a series of three new products around ISE2025, of which we will remain mysterious about for now. We can share this series of products is a long-cherished wish for both us and many installers.

Blaze Audio has taken over the Ci-Series by Cornered Audio, with this takeover we’ve become the Benelux distributor with direct effect for this series and two on-wall subwoofer models. We honour the previous distributor CAP AV and the series can also be purchase via this existing channel with the same conditions as before. The Cornered Audio brand name will be replaced by Blaze in the future.

We have extensively tested a demo-set at our office and are very pleased by the performance of the models.

LEaTcon

22 to 24 October we will be present at LEaTcon, hosted at the Hamburg Messe.

Together with our German distributor Steinbild we will be displaying our brands ACX, NewHank and ProDJuser.

ISE

At the next ISE show in 2025 we will be back again with our own booth. We will split the booth showcasing both ACX and NewHank. We cannot wait to see you all there and show our mysterious new products.
